Anniversary Number 12: July 6, 2008

We try and do one trip every year to celebrate our anniversary.
This is at the top of Rabbit Ears Pass. We saw our first moose near Lake Grandy.
The flowers were awesome. This is a Columbine: the state flower of Colorado.
The mosquitoes were monsters. This thing started out as skinny as a thread and just sucked and sucked. You can see his whole body full of Mark's blood. We don't know how he managed to fly away with all the weight on him!
Our awesome campsite. We only saw one person the entire three days we camped here. The biggest visitor were four moose who came walking around the check us out. Thanks for watching the kids mom and dad!

Trippin around the 4th

We stopped in Mesa Verde on the way to Silverton, CO. In Silverton we camped like hobos along the RR track. The fireworks were great. Then we drove over Engineer Pass. Wow what a view!!!
