Cali: Knottsberry, Basketball and the Power of Prayer

We went to San Diego for Jer's all-stars game. He played his very best game ever! We know it was because of the hard work he's been putting in as well as the loving support of Heavenly Father. He got some fire in his shorts and could not be stopped. We are so proud of the hard work he's put in to improve!! We also spent a fun day at Knottsberry. Notice Jer's cool shirt he made with spray paint. We went to church there and of course noticed the amazing organ music and song by the choir--unforgettable and powerful music. The weekend was so so great except for the last hour of the drive home. Everyone was ready to be home and we were losing the happy feeling by the minute. All at once I felt the prompting to pray. Boy did I pray. I call it the Bednar prayer... thank thee for this and that and this and that again. It was a loooong prayer. Finally my voice began to give out so I had to stop. It had done the trick. The peace and quiet was back. It was the longest prayer I have ever said in my life and truly, no joke, I felt the power of that prayer more than any in a long time.
